Sunflower Bride Paper Portrait

By February 19, 2016Blog

Paper Portrait central – at least that is what this part of my website and blog is about to become. I’ll be posting more about some of my latest paper art portraits here in the blog section of our website. Included will be closeup shots, so you can really appreciate the level of detail that goes into each customized paper portrait.  Who doesn’t love a beautiful sunflower any time of the year?  I’m calling this latest paper portrait, “Sunflower Bride”.  It was a personal project for a friend of ours who was married last fall.  With the Holiday’s and Valentine’s Day workload, I’m just coming up for air now, getting my hands on it and finally getting this done. It was my wedding gift to them, so I made them a BIG one (about 20 inches x 15 inches).  In the photo thread below, I’ll also include a the original photo, everyone seems to love looking at the side by side!

Remember, we can put something very special together for you for St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day …. and there is always that special Anniversary, Engagement, Birthday, Baby Announcement/Shower/Congratulations, or Wedding memory we can immortalize in paper art form.

I’m also working on some new card designs just in time for spring as well!

Please share our website & blog, as well the paper portraits gallery with your friends.  I have a couple exciting pretties up my sleeve so stick around and be sure to join me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!  There may or may not have been something made for some very loved HGTV superstars, so when the time is right, stay connected for any reveal we may have.

While you are here please feel free to enjoy our newly updated and redesigned website.  Immense gratitude and props to Scott Beck for his years and years of loving assistance, faithfulness, hard work and for sharing his ever growing priceless talent with us (and you)!

Feel free to leave any comments below, enjoy the photos and thanks for stopping by!

close ups are my favorite . You get a chance to see the level of detail and work and love that go into each paper portrait.

Closeups are my favorite – it gives an opportunity to see the level of detail and work and love that go into each paper portrait.

Another close up, can never have to many. Customers tell me all the time pictures do no justice but I continue to try!

Here they are the bride and the groom. Remember that moment right after the ceremony when you are able to take it all in? The adrenaline, rush, the excitement is waning and you realize, Wow we’re finally married!!!!
Now take a deep breath, and …..

Totally agree with Jelly. You captured the emotions and details beautifully! I hope one day you will teach a class again. I was inspired by you and works when we met at a former scrapbooking store in Palm Harbor.
